Workplace Emotion, Attitude and Stress
Workplace emotion, attitude and stress are key components of all individuals working in a particular environment. Ideally, in a workplace, emotions can make employees more productive which is an advantage to the organization. It can also be to the advantage of the employee since it is from good performance that salary rise and promotions among other employee benefits can be realised (Bmber, 2013). On the other hand, emotion can have a negative effect hence hindering the employee's level of task performance. As a result, it affects the general performance of the organization and also the performance of the worker. Thus, such scenarios may lead to the termination of the contract between the employee and the firm. It may also result into reduced salary pays as well as lack of promotions in the workplace. Therefore, it is imperative for the employees to impose emotions that have a positive effect on the delivery of their duties. In a workplace, if the employees are capable of managing their emotions, it helps to attract more customers to the firm, thus, increase the productivity of the company. With the improved reputation, there is increased sales volume that results in the expansion of the enterprise. As a result, the given employee will be able to gain promotion once the company expands. All the above mentioned emanates from the way a given person can cope with his or her emotions. Emotions are episodes of mood variations that are experienced by individuals and are not preventable by any individual. They ussually occur without individual's conscious; thus, people should only think of how to manage them.
