Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening
This is a 1922 poem by Robert Frost. The speaker in the poem is said to be travelling in the snow in the woods with his horse. He suddenly stops near the house of his neighbor and he observes as the snow falls near him. The speaker is fascinated by the deep quiet and he is tempted to move further into the woods but he continues with his journey telling himself that he has promises to keep, as well as “miles to go before I sleep.” There has been two interpretations to what the poem implies, this is what will be looked at.
