The first video for reflection, “Got a Meeting? Take a Walk,” discusses the importance of physical activity in daily life. This is an important issue for discussion given that many people in modern workplaces spend most of the time seated in the office and very little time walking. It is important that the speaker has highlighted the significant health consequences associated with lack of physical activity. The same argument is reflected by Shawn Achor in “The Happy Secret to Better Work.” In both videos, the speakers emphasize on the importance of managing time and activities and setting priorities based on importance. To work better, it is important that one takes enough rest, takes enough sleep, and engages in physical activity. All the factors work together and none should be overlooked in favor of the other. The two videos are closely to Arianna Huffington’s “How to Succeed? Get more Sleep.” The power of success lays in the power of a good night sleep because one gets enough time to relax, reflect, and prepare for tasks for the following day. Both the mind and the body need enough time for relaxation.
