PunMed is a health related website composed of more than 20 million citations related to biomedical literature, journals of life sciences and other online health related books (Kendall, 2014). The citations in this website also include links to full content from the central website publisher. The purpose of this website is to provide medical information to different people. This information includes published journals that meet the MEDLINE standards of citation. Additionally, it enables people to access information on various medical projects including research on key sensitive medical issues (Shultz, 2015). The search engine used to access the website is named “PubMed”. The website can be accessed through a public domain, which is PubMed.gov. I chose to discuss this website because it offers credibility of information and ease of access to its content. The uniform source locator for the website is http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed.
