Problems Encountered During the Transatlantic Slave Trade
Introduction
The Transatlantic Slave Trade was taking place during four centuries. This slave trade occurred in Africa and covered key areas in the West and East Africa. Slave trade had various impacts on African countries, America, and the lives of the slaves (Klein, 2010). As a captive of slavery, a slave faced various atrocious circumstances on the West African coast during the middle passage and from the slave traders. Slaves were captured on the inside of Africa, transported to slave centers, and shipped to America upon selection. However, the reality of what slave victims went through during the Transatlantic Slave Trade does not seem to matter anymore. This essay is an account of a slave’s experiences and his fellow victims during the trade.
