How bottled water is leading to environmental pollution and some of the solutions to it.
Pollution Standards For Bottled Water.
Length: 2 pages (593 Words)
Water is life, and human beings cannot live without it. Globally, various individuals prefer using different kind of water that is bottled or tap water. There are some people who believe bottled water is the best and cannot use tap water. On the other hand, some people believe tap water is the best, and they cannot use bottled water (Lisa, 2001). However, some individuals use both bottled and tap water, it all depends on which is available in time of need.
According to the articles that I have read I believe pollution standards should get set for bottled water. The IBWA- international water bottled water association, which is respected source of data on all kinds of bottled waters, requires associate bottlers to stick on its bottled water code of ethics (Knopper, 2008). Consumption of bottled water is rising for instance, in the year 2006 the consumption per capita o f bottled water capacity surpassed 8.25 billion gallons, an increase of 9.5 percent over the year 2005 (Bottled water, 2009).
