The college graduation is one of the most awaited and remarkable event for almost any student joining college. The inspiration to work hard in college is the attainment of a high grade on graduation. In the modern world of business, employers base their selection and recruitment on merit. The most academically and professionally qualified candidates are the most preferred for the job. Therefore, working hard in school and attaining a good grade on graduation is one of the possible initial steps of getting a good job. At the same time, the job market is looking for candidates who are eager to advance their studies over and above the college degree. Based on the high rate in which students are graduating with the bachelor's degree, the first degree is now becoming irrelevant in the market. Those with higher levels of education such as a Masters' degree or a PhD are now the most preferred to take senior leadership positions in organizations.
