Hotel Rwanda (2004), directed by Terry George tells a story about the ethnic tensions and violence in Rwanda during the 1990's. The story is also about the horrible war between the Hutu majority and Tutsi minority groups of Rwanda at the time. The political issue represented in the film began way back in 1990 when the Tutsi fled into exile to neighboring countries and later on planned an invasion which failed. The Tutsi group was known as Rwandan Patriotic Front and due to this attack, war generated between the two groups. The President Juvenal Habyarimana, who is Hutu, is assassinated when the plane he boarded is shot down over the Kigali airport. This leads to blame games whereby the Hutu politicians blamed the Tutsi for the president's death.
