Femininity, masculinity, and the question of gender have been controversial over the years. This is based on the notion that a person can either be male or female. The primary classification of gender is based on the sexes of the individuals that are defined by their reproductive organs. This paper gives the viewpoints of Patrick Hopkins and Wittig on the question of femininity and masculinity.
