Static addressing
Static addressing is the aspect of the Internet service provider to assign computers a number which becomes a permanent address on the internet. The number that is assigned in the computers is in the form of a dotted quad. The common static addressing that is used in the computers is the static IP addressing (whatismyipaddress.com, 2015). By doing this, the computers in the internet are able to communicate to each other. Just like the people will communicate to each other through the phones, the static addressing links computers and they can share information and locate each other. When for instance you want to visit a certain website, say statadd.com, the computer will request for a domain name system (DNS) server.
