I have constantly attempted to break the behavior of eating unhealthy foods. I have tried to adopt a healthy lifestyle for a long time. The attempts involve adopting new diets and exercising regularly. However, I always fall back to the same unhealthy eating routine. The biggest impediment to breaking the habit has been the environment and the psychological perception that facilitate change in behavior (Hammer, Weiten, and Dunn 10). Lifestyle changes need to be maintained forever for them to be effective. Hence, behavior change needs to originate from the mind to prevent fallbacks.
