In this age of massive consumer awareness, it has become tricky to acquire or even retain existing customers. Most of them are critiques of the services and products in the market, and this does not play well in the consumer sector (Kotler & Lee, 2011). It is the desire of every agency to have its consumers more willing to try their new products, and increase on the amount they spent on the product. This has seen many agencies invest in research to try and understand the general behavior of its consumers before, during, and after purchase of the products. The importance of this is that it gives the agency the information needed to come up with policies that can bring changes.
