Issues Affecting Women in the Muslim Culture
Introduction
It is a well-established fact that Allah allows Muslim women to make choices in regards to balancing their responsibilities both in their homes and outside their households. While, in the past, working out of the households was a challenge to these women, the changes that have occurred have forced them to join other workforces they were not expected to join. When working in foreign environments, Muslim women have been subjected to a number of difficulties (Ali 1).
These problems do not exist because of the struggles to please Allah but because some ideologies in non-Muslim societies directly conflict with the way of life in Islamism. Thus, these women must constantly engage in social norms that contradict with their cultures and religious faiths. A number of struggles make it difficult for Islamic women to balance their principles and practices with the working culture in the Western nations.
