My plan is to undertake an Accounting and Finance program at the degree level. This is consistent with my interest in financial related activities that have practiced at personal level. It is also in line with my values of accountability and honesty. The field offers services for managing finances and accounts in organizations. This helps ensure a clear account is given for all the funds and enable development of better investment decisions for the top management. Several courses are offered throughout the program to ensure learners have adept skills needed in the job market. This includes development and maintenance of accounting documents such as ledger accounts, balance sheet, and income statements, among others (Feldman, & Rupert, 2014). It also involves course for accounting ethical values and regulatory practices. Further, it has the course for the management of capital investments such as forecasting returns and present values. Accounting students are required to complete eight semesters to obtain degree qualifications (Feldman, & Rupert, 2014). During this period they are subjected to class sessions and practical opportunities in organizations.
